Merry Christmas to all who made Operation Ensuring Christmas VII from the 934th Forward Surgical Unit in Afghanistan: http://youtu.be/L4sssx1NV5g
With the help of volunteers across the US and the world who write letters, make cards and banners and hand made items to send our brave and selfless deployed military men and women, we hope to show them that we have not forgotten their great sacrifices for us by shipping special care packages to them. We also collect support from the community for their families while they hold down the fort at home.
ATTN: Our Director's Spinal Chord injuries have become too severe, along with caring 24/7 for her 91 yr old father for past 13 months till he passed, made it impossible for her to continue her work of 6 yrs. alone. Volunteers desperately needed to print letters, get them to our wonderful military and Veterans who need them:
"Please just write the letters you love to, and I will do the best I can to give the letters to the military and disabled Veterans with www.veteranswin.org

It pains me to write this: but After caring for my father, a WWII and Vietnam with French Airforce Veteran, in hospitals,/rehabs for over 14 months and loosing him last month, and not able to find volunteers or any donations for over a year." This disabled woman, all alone is trying to save her charity of 7 years putting on possibly my last Care Package Making Party with AMGEN Oncologist Convention Employees who raised the over $2,300 for postage of Flat Rate boxes they will be making with Letters to Soldiers and after I worked so hard approaching, collecting Outdoor Retailer great gear and clothes for the deploying military unit of Surgical Soldiers and Nurses we sent packages to in 2010 that are heading for Afghanistan again. But my health, lack of funds and volunteers after 6,200 care packages putting on Welcome Homes with all donated best food, gifts, entertainment, Operation Ensuring Christmas Concerts, and the biggest Christmas packaging parties, won’t be able to continue. Just need to pay for the postage, Comcast Business Class Internet Service, Cricket Communications Phone and wireless Internet services, and
GoDaddy hosting. My hard year long volunteering work, my tiny disability check and all I have left to put towards this effort just isn’t enough anymore. Please if you can help in anyway, contact
email@example.com. Thank you and God Bless our military, our Veterans and all their dear families that sacrifice everything to protect us and our liberties.
I gave all I collected this year to the 405th to distribute to UTNG and Army REserve, and passed out most of rest of letters I have received on Veteran's Day at Golden Corral to military and Veterans. It breaks my heart I can't do more. And please watch the videos below and see the wonderful volunteers that did everything we could do for the military and tell others. I thank my dear volunteers Michael and Nancy that helped me get around in my electric chair when the batteries died each of the 4 days so I could gather as many great gear from the OR to put in the last 200 care packages next week." And a very big hug and thank you to the wonderful anonymous person that mailed funds this past Saturday that I am going to pay the bills to keep this site going with. You know who you are. Thank you!"
